Fancy gravel riding in Heidelberg? The local boys from fahrstil got you covered. Look at their take on our Torino. A one of a kind.
Focussing Gravel and Adventure Cycling
Over the past three years, the fahrstil Klubhaus, a spatial offshoot of the print magazine of the same name, has been the first port of call for gravel bicycle culture in Heidelberg. A space for bicycle enthusiasts, which invited to exciting event formats such as talks, readings, workshops, film evenings and, of course, group rides. Even MTB legend Tom Ritchey was among the visitors.
Heidelberg meets California.
Under this guiding theme the guys from the fahrstil Klubhaus in Heidelberg created a unique piece worth seeing based on our Torino. The frame, painted in the fahrstil colours, is adorned with bicycle components, almost all of which are made in the Golden State.
Bike Parts Californication.
WTB from Mill Valley, CA: Sendero Tires 650Bx47 and Silverado Saddle
Paul Components from Chico, CA: Boxcar Stem and Seatpost Tall and Handsome
White Industries from Petaluma, CA: Square Taper Road Cranks, 40T
Salsa Cycles, founded in CA: Cowbell Handelbars and Bottle Cage Nickless Cage
The local development competencies meet North Californian style – works very well, if you ask us. While the first – new – issue of the fahrstil magazine will be published by Velobiz publishing house at the beginning of December (we are curious!), the spatial Heideberg expansion continues to develop into the Flare Bicycle Festival, the premiere at which in June 2019 our Torino was extensively tested.
The Torino.
Break out. Leave everyday life behind you. Redefine your limits – in your head and on the map. Because where the paved road ends, the Torino won’t stop.
